Amanda Dooney (Norfolk County Forest Health Tech) will be giving an update on EAB in Southern Ontario.
Mark Bouw (Haldimand & Norfolk County Deputy Forestry Conservation By-Law Officer) will be speaking on woodlot management
with regards to EAB. Amanda & Mark will escort attendees on a tour of a nearby Conservation Area where EAB is present.
This is a joint H&AWOA and NORFOLK Woodlot Owners Assoc. Event. Please plan to attend!
GOOD FORESTRY PRACTICE WORKSHOP

10 am at the Haldimand Conservation Area ‘campground forest’ near Peacock Pt.

David Holmes -  forester for the Long Point Region Conservation Authority will do a walk through the  Haldimand Conservation
Authority
campground forest. The focus of the tour will be the development of a harvest under Good Forestry Practice. Dave
has a harvest planned for this year and will have the woodlot marked for our tour. The tour will focus on the development of a
good forestry practice prescription, tree marking and the sale of the standing timber from a landowner’s perspective.
